All communication happens within Ostazi. This creates a record and allows us to review interactions if issues arise.

For Students
- Only communicate through the Ostazi platform
- Never share personal information (address, school details) unless necessary for in-person sessions
- Report any inappropriate behavior immediately
- For minors: inform a parent/guardian about your tutoring sessions
- Trust your instincts - if something feels wrong, end the session and report it
For Parents
- Review tutor profiles and verification status before booking
- Consider sitting in on the first session with a new tutor
- Have regular conversations with your child about their tutoring experience
- Monitor your child's account activity through shared access
- Contact us immediately if you have any concerns
Report a Concern
If you experience or witness any inappropriate behavior, please report it immediately. All reports are treated confidentially and investigated within 24 hours.

How are tutors verified?
Tutors must submit a valid Egyptian government ID (national ID or passport). Our team manually reviews each document to verify identity. Only after approval can tutors accept bookings.
Is it safe for children to use Ostazi?
Yes, with parental guidance. We recommend parents review tutor profiles, sit in on initial sessions, and maintain open communication with their children about their tutoring experience.
What should I do if I feel unsafe?
End the session immediately and report the incident through our platform. Click 'Report' on the tutor's profile or booking, or contact support directly. We investigate all reports within 24 hours.
Are video sessions recorded?
No, Ostazi does not record video sessions. Your sessions are private. However, we do keep text message logs for safety purposes.
Can I request a different tutor?
Absolutely. You're never obligated to continue with a tutor. Simply browse for a new tutor and book with someone else. No explanation needed.
