Payment Information
Payments are made via InstaPay bank transfer. We collect sender phone number and name for verification purposes. We keep transaction records for accounting and dispute resolution.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use Ostazi, including pages visited, features used, session bookings, and messages sent.
Device Information
We collect device type, browser type, IP address, and general location (city-level) for security and analytics purposes.
How We Use Your Information
Providing Services
We use your information to create your account, facilitate bookings, process payments, and enable communication between students and tutors.
Improving Ostazi
We analyze usage patterns to improve our platform, fix bugs, and develop new features that better serve our community.
Communication
We send booking confirmations, session reminders, and important account notifications. Marketing emails are optional and you can unsubscribe anytime.

Information Sharing
With Other Users
Students see tutor profiles (name, photo, subjects, reviews, availability). Tutors see student names and booking details. Private information like phone numbers is only shared when necessary for sessions.
With Service Providers
We share necessary data with cloud hosting (Supabase) and analytics tools. All providers are bound by data protection agreements. Payment is done via InstaPay direct bank transfer.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information when required by Egyptian law, court orders, or to protect rights and safety.
We Never Sell Your Data
Your personal information is never sold to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
