Eng. Abdelrahman Mahran

I am a full-time Mathematics Tutor with over 5 years of extensive teaching experience, helping students across multiple international curricula including American, British, Canadian, and IB systems. With more than 5000 hours of private tutoring,I have worked with 250+ students from different countries, supporting them in strengthening their mathematical foundations, improving their academic performance, and building the confidence needed to excel in exams and competitions. My background in Mechatronics Engineering from Helwan University allows me to approach mathematics with both analytical depth and real-world perspective, helping students see mathematics not only as a school subject but as a powerful tool for problem-solving and logical thinking. Throughout my teaching journey, I have received 200+ five-star reviews from students and parents, reflecting consistent improvements in students' grades, exam performance, and overall attitude toward mathematics. What I Focus On My teaching philosophy is built around one core belief: Mathematics should be understood, not feared. Many students struggle with math because they develop anxiety or lose confidence. My goal is to break that barrier by helping students: • Build strong conceptual understanding • Develop structured problem-solving skills • Improve exam performance and academic scores • Gain confidence in tackling challenging mathematical problems I carefully analyze each student's strengths and weaknesses, then design targeted practice and explanations that transform weaknesses into achievable milestones. Vision My vision is to help students overcome fear of mathematics, develop independent learning skills, and become confident thinkers who can approach any mathematical challenge with clarity and confidence. I am also passionate about identifying and nurturing mathematically talented students, preparing them to participate in STEM and international mathematics competitions, and supporting them in reaching the highest levels of achievement. Founder - Mizan Academy I am also the Founder of Mizan Academy, an initiative focused on preparing students for advanced mathematics learning, STEM pathways, and mathematics competitions.
