# Ostazi Pricing and Credits

> Tutors set their own lesson rates, and students use Ostazi credits to request and book sessions without a recurring subscription.

## How pricing works

- Lesson prices vary by tutor, subject, experience, level, country, and lesson format.
- Current prices appear on each tutor's public profile.
- Students add credits to their account and use the balance for bookings.
- The amount required for a booking depends on the tutor's listed rate and session details.

## Credits, platform fees and booking charges

- 1 EGP in your credit balance pays for 1 EGP of lessons. Students do not have a recurring monthly subscription, and credits do not expire.
- Credit top-ups have a 14% platform fee. Adding 100 EGP in credits costs 114 EGP: 100 EGP is credited and 14 EGP is the fee.
- The minimum top-up is 100 EGP in credits and the maximum is 50,000 EGP per request, before the fee. These are top-up limits, not lesson price limits.
- The current credit-booking flow deducts the lesson cost without adding another platform or processing fee to that booking.
- Credits are deducted when the tutor accepts. Tutors have 24 hours to respond; a declined or expired request does not deduct lesson credits.

## Payment methods and changes

InstaPay transfers require review and approval. Card payments use Kashier when available. Follow the instructions inside your account and check your payment status and credit history.
